Confidence and Connection with Kiki Rozema from Smoothies Tank Tops
Kiki, a former educator and busy wife and mom in Alberta, CA decided to launch Smoothies Tank Tops spending years being frustrated with tanks that would constantly ride up, were see-through, and fell apart. As someone who has battled weight issues for over 40 years and who taught junior high for 15 years, she knew in her heart I could make a difference in how girls and women felt about their bodies. I wanted to change how they 'saw' themselves as women. I wanted them to know their worth and to recognize the strength and power their bodies held, regardless of shape or size. There is a huge correlation between confidence and how we perceive the world. Our experiences shape who we are, but what defines us is how we RESPOND to those experiences; it's why siblings from the same family often grow up to be very different people. Smoothies is so much more than just a tank top company; we have created an Empowerment/Mentorship Program for Girls aged 10-14. Her hope is to grow the company through awareness, their Confidence Connection movement, and their products.
