Declutter and Organize for Self-Care with Courtney Florey
Have you ever heard the phrase, “Messy home = happy kids”? It feels lighthearted and encouraging, but in the work that I do, I’ve seen “Messy home = overwhelmed mama + restless kiddos”.
Declutter & Dwell exists to help you clear the clutter in your mind, simplify your home, and live a more present life. I promise this is possible to achieve if you’re willing to put in the work. The fun part is that if you’ll allow me, I’ll be right there with you every step of the way.
Life is too short to spend every moment cleaning up. It’s time to step into a life of simplicity.
Normalize Talking About Mental Health for Improved Wellness
I like to say that since we all have minds, mental health awareness is really for all of us. Unfortunately, the stigma surrounding mental health prevents so many individuals from acknowledging what they are dealing with and seeking help. So let's change the conversation and help eliminate the stigma. Fear and shame are two of the main reasons people avoid seeking treatment. Yet, we all have emotional struggles at times - so let's talk about them. As well - let's build our mental wellness, to help us better manage these struggles. Incorporating regular conversations about mental health, and what we are struggling with, as well as making seeking help a comfortable and approachable choice as part of our mental wellness is how we break down the judgment and barriers.

Ways to Create Calm in Your Day (The Final Installment of the Create More Calm in Your Life Series)
So, this last episode in the series, Creating More Calm in Your day, pulls together elements of parts 1-3 and builds that final framework for your overall life.
Reconnecting to yourself, to your interests and activities is key.
CALM comes from anticipating things not always going to plan (cause, unfortunately, they don’t), and pre-deciding what your options and choices are to help you keep it together.
So HOW do you find this CALM and EASE?
Calm can come from choices you make in:
☀️the moment
☀️your mindset
☀️your environment
☀️how you structure your day
Imagine having:
- Less frustration as you're trying to get out the door in the morning.
- More time spent with the people you love, doing things that are important to you
- Not going to bed feeling overwhelmed by all the things you didn’t get done.
- More habits that keep you productive and happy.
- Less anxiety over household chores getting (or not getting) done.
Ways to Create Calm in Your Home (Part 3 of 4 in the Create More Calm in Your Life Series)
Your home is where you start and end your days.
Imagine coming home to a space that intentionally helps contribute to that CALM you are looking for each day.
In this episode, I share different ways to add:
🏡Organization
🏡Cozy (Hygge)
🏡Color
🏡Texture
And so much more….
